Dates: 18 to 26 May 2024 (9 Days / 8 Nights)The 2024 Giro will come to life as the race heads into the final week. Stage 16 includes a monumental crossing over the Stelvio Pass and Stage 20 packs in two ascents of Monte Grappa. Join us in 2024 where we will be based in Bormio for 3 nights (Stages 15 & 16) and Levico Terme for 4 nights (Stages 17 & 20). The tour even finishes on the outskirts of Venice allowing an easy travel connection to Rome to watch the finale in the Italian capital. Giro D'Italia Cycling Tour 2024 | Brief Itinerary
Day 1 – 18 May 2024Meet in Milan and transfer to Bormio. This afternoon we warm-up along the Fiume Adda. You can feel Stelvio, Cancano and Mortirolo encircling you! |
Day 2 – 19 May 2024Giro Stage 15 finishes on the ‘Mottolino’ for the first time. The 8-10% grades and maximum 18% ramp will make for captivating viewing high in the Italian Alps. |
Day 3 – 20 May 2024While the Giro race rests, we go in search for the ‘Mortirolo’ wall. Asphalted in 1990 and as many as 14 Giro crossings. You will need to channel your inner Marco Pantani today! |
Day 4 – 21 May 2024Goodbye Bormio, hello STELVIO PASS! Just like Giro Stage 16 we too will ride the 20.2km Stelvio ascent (7.2% average with max grades of 14%). The climb combines hairpins (surprise, surprise), tunnels, a steep valley and spectacular waterfalls up to 2758m elevation! |
Day 5 – 22 May 2024Ride the beautiful bike path along the Brenta River before tackling the tight curving roads to an entertaining Giro Stage 17 finish on Passo Brocon. |
Day 6 – 23 May 2024Today we take a break from the Giro to explore our base in Levico Terme (Valsugana valley). Cycle past natural lakes and up to stunning lookout points. The ‘Menador’ climb is a real treat! |
Day 7 – 24 May 2024Taking advantage of our base we will ride the scenic roads surrounding the Trentino lakes district. The 15km descent on flowing roads back towards Levico will be one to remember! |
Day 8 – 25 May 2024A brilliant cycling route which begins through the rolling Prosecco hills. Follow the wheelpath of Giro Stage 20 and ride Monte Grappa which rises out of the Veneto plain. EPIC is an understatement! |
Day 9 – 26 May 2024Thinking of pushing on to Rome? Join us for a van transfer through to Venice Marco Polo airport Venice Mestre train station. |
