Thank you for your interest in the RH Coaching Program.
Here's how it will work.
Every 2 weeks Coach Silas will send out a fortnightly program either via a private Facebook group page or directly to your email address (if you aren't on social media).
There will be 2 options to choose from, a strong latte level and a cappuccino program (which won't be so daunting). In human hours, the latte program will keep you busy for up to 8 hours per week, although you could do more if you wish, the cappuccino won't be quite as time consuming.
Both coffee types recognise that we have family, wine, donuts, beer, donuts, work and more donuts to consider.
Flexibility in training is key. You could start out on the Cappa program and switch to the Latte program if you're finding it too easy, or vice versa. If you're not sure which plan to start on, then ask Silas on the Facebook group page, or email a summary of your current training as well as whether your planning on doing either of the optional events to: email@example.com
Silas will also take questions from you directly. The group FB would be good for that because if you have a question then no doubt others will be wondering the same thing.
Also - it would be nice to see some group encouragement, stories from within the group (no one from outside the program will see anything, as the FB page will be a closed group).
For those riding the RH Karapiro Flyer (25 Sept) and the BDO Lake Taupo Cycle Challenge (27 Nov) then they will be worked into the program as key goals. If you aren't riding these great events, then we'll still set you a target on those weekends
A bit about your coach
Silas has been guiding tours for Ride Holidays for almost a decade and is well and truly part of the RH family. Originally from Wellington he now calls Lake Annecy, France his home. Silas has been coaching full time since the year 2000 after graduating with degree in Sports Science, specialising in sports performance. Silas has perfected the use of online training programs although he encourages face-to-face feedback (skype etc). While on tour he is often seen (coffee in hand) talking to his athletes from all over the world.
